I'm not usually a romantic heartsy kind of person, but these hearts in copper by Missficklemedia (Etsy) captivated me! I love the weathered patina on them--they evoke for me an old, abandoned white schoolhouse in the country, with a rusty bicycle leaning against it, under a brilliant blue sky. I never went school in the country but I can nearly imagine it when I look at these. I've accented them with little copper pearls, glass lentil beads in a peridot "aurora borealis" finish (they really transmit the light), and beaded copper rings. They hang from a pair of my hand-formed earwires which are embellished with seed beads in a soft opal finish.
