Violin Player Figurine made with Powertex and previously loved fabrics

Shared by BitsOfFiber in the Fabric Crafts

Product Description:

To make figurines like these I use electrical wire, plain old kitchen foil, painters tape and lots of second hand fabric and other materials depending on the type of art doll I'm making. Once the basics are ready and the art doll/figurine has been dressed I remove all of the clothing and start wrapping the main body with old T-shirt material which I've ripped in small narrow strips and dipped in the powertex liquid. I continue dipping and applying the fabrics on my figurine until I'm happy with the results. You will find more pictures of other figurines I've made. This one I made for my mom but if you are interested in purchasing one similar to this please contact me with questions. Thanks for looking!
