Vintage style girl's bonnet hat knit pink purple hand dyed
This is a charming girl's bonnet, hand knitted from two of my hand dyed soft mixed fibre yarns, one in semi solid smoky purples and gray, the other in bright pinks - very girly! The bonnet is adapted from a vintage (circa 1950) pixie hat pattern - but the yarn is very up to date, so I thought it was a good combination. The hat measures approx. 15 inches around the picot edge and 12 inches around the moss stitch base. The ties are 7.5 inches and are decorated with a tiny pink flower on each.
I am not listing this as a baby hat because it is not a first size - more like 1 to 4 years. In the pictures it is shown on an adult head form.
