This is a mai ogi or dance fan. This hand fan is simple yet elegant! The color is white. There is a calligraphy on it. These 2 kanji characters mean recovery, revival, restoration. This fan is memento for new government office in Hyogo prefecture. It is from head of a police station in Hyogo. It is about 27 cm long and when opened about 43 cm wide.
