I hand knitted this useful, good sized tote bag from 100% wool in dark red with apple green and pink stripes. The design is striking. I finished the bag with a press stud fastening and strong felted icord handles in the contrasting colours.The bag was knitted huge, then felted to produce a thick hardwearing fabric.
The construction has a minimum of stitching up - so no weak areas around the seams.
I like this bag - but felting is an inexact science and the edges are less crisp than I normally expect. SpinningStreak has high standards - so I offer this one at a reduced price. It is, of course, perfectly serviceable - and very good value for its size.
This one measures 11.5 inches top to bottom when laid flat and 16 inches across the body at its widest when laid flat. The handles measure approx. 40 inches, which gives a drop of about 17 inches.The bag is designed to be slung comfortably over the shoulder. It has a good capacity.
