Product Description:

This is my interpretation of a tree in spring. Where I live in Wales, trees in exposed positions are 'shaped by the wind' and grow in all sorts of strange shapes. This picture is made from merino wool fibres which I first needle felted to hold them in place and then wet felted to make a strong fabric. When the felt was dry I added some machine stitching for extra texture.It measures 5x7 inches and is stretched on to artists canvas ready to hang.This picture is available to buy in my etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/SueForeyfibreart?ref=si_shop in the mini felt section for $15.00.
