Sock yarn, hand dyed wool, hand painted, lemon and lime 100g by SpinningStreak A new series of indie dyed sock yarns. The base yarn for this is 75% wool and 25% polyamide for strength. This one is a lovely soft, squishy fine knitting yarn, recommended needle size 3mm for socks (see photo against 1 inch measure for accurate gauge). I dip dyed the wool in several stages to achieve a bright, clean effect, There is plenty here for a pair of adult socks - but, of course, it could be used for many other projects.
