'Mjolnir'; Thor's hammer, is one of the most recogniseable icons around the world outside of currently religious iconography. It's a symbol of strength, but also of the wisdom to wield that power. Such was the pull of Thor's mythos, that his symbol became the most popular recurring image for use in pendants within Old Norse culture during the Viking age.

This incarnation of that symbol is hand-carved from a cut of sapelle mahogany, a material coveted around the world for its strength and beauty for use in woodwork. The rich, red-brown wood shines like bronze in sunlight and is accentuated by the silver-plated chain on which it is mounted.
