Pirate Cat Pincushion Captain Red-Eyes is a completely functional pincushion for sewers or can be used as a cool decorative piece. The majority of this pincushion was hand sewn. Captain red-Eyes, like all my other creations, is handcrafted and made from my own pattern.The cat pincushion is made of brown felt. His face consists of pins and his feet are brown pom poms. He has a dark red tattered vest and a gray sword holder complete with his sword (made out of a straight pin, beads, and plastic cording). His orange parrot is always perched on his shoulder. He has a felt tan peg leg and a black felt hat with the skull and crossbones on the front. He is firmly stuffed with 100% polyester fiberfill. I also made a sand pouch from cotton fabric and sewed that inside the pincushion which gives him more stability.
He stands approximately 6.25 inches (16 cms) tall and measures approximately 10.75 inches (27.25 cms) around the belly.
