"Orange Sunflower" original acrylic mini painting on 2" x 2" x .5" canvas with magnets on the back so you can hang it on your fridge (or file cabinet!) Perfect to brighten up your kitchen or office.

Sunflowers are endlessly fascinating to me. There is such a wide variety of sizes, shapes and colors, that I never get bored painting them!
For this little flower I applied multiple layers of hansa yellow opaque, pyrrole red light and pyrrole red. I used burnt umber light for the shadows and the center of the flower. The bright blue background is phthalo blue (green shade) mixed with a tiny bit of titanium white.

I use only the highest grade, artist quality acrylic paints, gels and mediums from Golden Artist Colors. These materials are archival and meant to last.
