Product Description:
his beautiful needle case or book is made using pure merino wool in beautiful vibrant colours.The wool is layered onto the felt with each layer being thoroughly needled into the felt before the next layer is added. The background is done first in layers and then the weeds were added and finally the fish. Each new piece is also made in layers to build the texture of the picture and ensure it stays in place.
Each picture takes several hours to design and build to produce a textured and tactile piece of work.
The picture is made on white felt and also backed with the same white felt.
The centre pages are two pieces of white felt, making four pages for your needles and pins. They are stitched securely into place with invisible thread.
Blue ribbon to tie the book closed is sewn securely inside the picture and lining with invisible thread.
