Product Description:

A handmade wool felt artwork inspired by lichen. Made with 100% soft Merino wool, the background is in colours of mid grey, white and warm grey. The bright orange and yellows make the lichen cups stand out in this 3D felt artwork. It was made using the felt Shibori method, tying stones and pebbles into the felt and rubbing and rolling the wool until the felt took on the shape of the objects enclosed. These were then removed to leave a visually striking textural piece of work. The gathering of the felt has produced a lovely organic shape to the overall piece.
