The yarn used is Hayfield Baby Changes which, as the name suggests, this is a 'colour phase' yarn. It subtly changes from white to pale pink then to a deeper pink entwined with white. Because it is knitted on the diagonal the stripes of colour are diagonal rather than your standard blankets where the stripes go across from side to side. It is quite lightweight so probably more suited to the warmer days when you just want to keep the chill off baby. This blanket measures approx 32 inches (81cms) square so it is ideal to be a cot cover or a pram cover.Site:
