Knitted baby hat ladybird red and black is hand knitted with a knitted ladybird on the end of the cord.It is made using 5 needles in the round so there are no uncomfortable seams.
It will fit babies from at least 3-6 months but as babies' head sizes vary a lot it will probably fit for longer than that. My son's hat will fit him until he is at least 7 months.
I decided to make some brightly coloured and different kinds of baby hats because I could only usually find pastel colours in the shops which I found pretty boring! Both my son and 6 month old niece are always wearing bright colours, and people often comment on how lovely they look. As I sell knitted owls already, I couldn't resist making this owl hat
