The blanket is worked from one corner to the other and as I used a self striping yarn it has diagonal stripes. The yarn is Magic Glitz from Ice Yarns and is a beautiful purple ombre shade changing from a deep purple through to a very pale lilac. For added beauty, it has a silvery thread running through it giving it a lovely sparkle.
