Black and white polymer clay handmade earrings with lampwork glass beads on silver wires
The square beads are made from black and white polymer clay. I made the polymer clay cane for these beads by combining a number of clay canes and squashing them together into a square cane, which is sliced into beads. They are then baked, sanded and buffed to a soft sheen and finally given a coat of wax polish.
The rondelle beads are artisan handmade lampwork glass with a marbled greeny grey finish and a faint purply hint underneath. I've teamed them with iridescent pink seed beads to echo this hint of colour, and to bring out the tiny pink centre of the clay beads.
The beads are linked with silver plated wire and the earrings hang 3cms/1.25inches from sterling silver wires.
