Product Description:

This fun crochet tea cosy was designed and crocheted by me to fit a standard 4-6 cup tea pot. The tea pot that it is photographed on measures about 17 inches around the middle. The cosy itself measures 7.5 inches(19cm) from the base to the shoulder and the cat's head is about 3.5 inches (9cm) high. Being crochet there is a certain amount of stretch in it anyway.

I have made it in a mix of acrylic and wool yarn in white, grey and black. I have put a tiny flower at the neck with a bead in the centre and I have stitched fish bones across the bottom of the cosy with a pearl button for the eye.

Because there is pure wool in this cosy, I would not recommend that you machine wash it but if you use cool water you can wash it by hand and reshape it if necessary whilst it is still damp.
