Product Description:

This is a simple and elegant contemporary embroidery, using hand and machine stitching and a sprigs of buttercups, pressed and dried, gathered from the lanes of Cheshire. It has been mounted on silky fabric with a spiral design flecked with gold, and then stitched to duck egg blue scrim, and then on to a natural linen background.

I have added the Latin name for buttercup, reminiscent of botanical specimens and collections.

It is framed in a flat silvery frame, with a white mount and can be freestanding or hung on the wall. Measurements: 19cm x 24cm or 7.5 inches x 9.5 inches.
