Chunky warm leg warmers red green gray knit wool mixA pair of warm legwarmers in a fun random effect in unusual shades of red, light green and mid grey with a slight pale fleck.The yarn is Sirdar Folksong Chunky - a blend of 51% wool and 49% acrylic. The yarn is chunky but very soft and has a faint silky sheen. These legwarmers are warm but still quite light and comfortable to wear. They are perfect for those of you battling with snowy conditions - but they are also quite a trendy fashion statement.
I have designed them slightly more stretchy at one end so that they can be pulled over boot tops to eliminate that cold bit. The legwarmers were knitted in the round, so no annoying seams. I made this pair slightly bigger - they measure 21 inches long and 10 inches circumference just below the main ribbed section - but they can be stretchy or worn slouchy as you prefer.
