Product Description:

Fabulous and luxurious nuno felted silk and wool scarf in ever versatile monochrome tones of black,white and grey. On one side only there is a hint of red too. Against the base of white silk habotai are trails of silk ribbons, linen and wool yarns and sprinklings of wensleydale curls in natural greys and whites all adding to the textural detail. Fine merino wool fibre in greys and black felt into the silk to form a fabulously intricate texture.

To make this shawl i used white silk habotai with soft fine quality merino wool fibres - light in some places and heavier in others, embellished with a liberal drizzles of wool yarn and some chunkier texture linen yarns adding tremendously to the interesting texture. All the edges of the scarf are finished with an undulating natural felted edge.
