Product Description:
This picture of a foxglove was inspired by the native flowers that seed themselves all over the Welsh countryside. In order to make a detailed picture in felt I had to first needle felt all of the fibres in to place and then wet felt to make a strong fabric. I also included silk fibres and yarns to give extra texture. The very fine details were hand embroidered on when the felt was dry. The finished felt is stretched on to an artists canvas and does not need to be framed.size 20x16 inches
