Ancient Greece Owl and Athena Coin Mismatched Earrings by Eridanea

Shared by Eridanea in the Jewellery

Product Description:

Greek mythology and history often appear in Greek jewelry designs.
Owls were also very popular in jewelry and coinage as Athena was the patron goddess of Athens and her symbol was the owl.

These earrings are copies of the ancient coins.
The image of an owl on one earring and the bust of Athena on the other.

These are meant to be a bit different in size and not perfectly round (as were the ancient Greek coins). They hang from silver plated french hooks.

Each earring measures a bit less than 1" wide (not including the ear wires).

Made out of emerald colored polymer clay with bronze patina.
