Product Description:
This journal or sketchbook has been made using Pelmet Vilene as its base. Using the pre-drawn template I gathered together a selection of different fabrics and arranged them on the Pelmet Vilene. When I was happy with the arrangement I stitched all round them using a zigzag stitch and running stitch.I stitched some beautiful lace on the right hand side and on the back. Then finally, I hand stitched five buttons, three pearl shell flower buttons, one pink heart button, and one ceramic heart button with painted flowers on. I also added some pink gingham ribbon with some red sequins, and embroidered a line of chain stitch to complete the look.
