The Martians are leaving their homeworld and attacking NOW ... and you have the proof!This is a fun item from a OUR universe -- a desk or table top diorama all ready for display of a classic looking martian flying saucer (made of wood and finished with metallic silver color complete with underside engines and blasters combo and clear passenger dome with green looking interior) in orbit around the dusty red planet Mars ... a smooth and round sitting on top of a vintage looking gold metallic colored wood stand.
The UFO is connected to the scene with a semi circle of thin, springy metal wire that if "boinged" lightly shakes and jiggles for quite some time! It reminds one of a contrail the ship might leave behind after take off! -- total height with ship up to about 5 1/5" (reminder there are 2 1/2 cm in an inch).
I paint and / or finish these with dark undertones and shading to highlight the details and then use layers of metallic and / or other coloring and finishes, making sure a lot of details shine through, often even the wood grain despite high tech themes. They maintain a retro, sometimes rustic look and feel to them, like an "olde worlde" toy or something.
