Product Description:
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.I designed this one in 2013 to celebrate the start of winter as I made it on the Winter Solstice Day,
i've used colours of winter - white, blues and hints of purple in the same design as my Summer and Autumn Solstice suncatchers.
At the centre is a 4cm glass nugget which i have designed and made in my little Hotpot kiln from bright blue and then sparkly expensive dichroic glass. These nuggets are unique and unrepeatable as each turns out different.
The nugget is is set inside a 16 segmented circle. I've used all different glasses for these, textured, steaky and iridescent. It has lots of movement and interest.
