This is an opportunity to commission a unique hand crafted playmat using patchwork, applique and hand embroidery, that is based on a theme that is special to your child. The photo is a Teddy Bear's Picnic example for illustration only. How about Space, Pirates, Fairies, Princesses, Zoo....... the ideas for Boys and Girls are endless.

The play mat size will be approximately 30 by 30 inches and will be made from 100% high quality quilting cotton with a choice of bamboo, cotton or polyester wadding.

The play scenes on the front will be created in a combination of hand applique and hand embroidery using a variety of felts, threads and fabrics as appropriate to the theme. Trimmings can include ribbons and ric-rac, and I can use buttons if you wish.
