This unique handmade doll’s name is Lucy, but everyone calls her ice-cream Lucy, because she is a huge fan of it. She loves winter and ice-skating and enjoys making snowmen. She is approximately 14'' (37 cm) tall and her body is made out of mixed yarn (wool and acrylic). Her hair is made out of special mixed yarn (wool, acrylic, polyamide) resulting in extreme softness. She looks at the world with plastic safety eyes.
This type of dolls is called amigurumi, which is the japanese art of crocheting dolls. It is a combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.
