Product Description:
Combining vintage and handmade, this Post Office door coin bank represents the best of Americana and old world craftsmanship in a functional item. This box is carefully crafted with old world dovetail joinery using beautiful figured American walnut. Each box goes through an intensive sanding process followed up by three coats of a hand applied oil-based clear finish.The vintage door is a 1972 and has been thoroughly cleaned and is in perfect working order. This door was removed from an active Post Office and saw many years of service.
The bottom of the box is signed by me and has felt feet for protection. The lock combination is also applied with a sticker to the bottom. The box is topped off with a brass coin slot which designates the authenticity of the door. A lock box card with detailed instructions is also included. The size is 6†tall, 4 3/4†wide, and 5†deep
