I embossed this entirely by hand using only hand tools. To create this 3 dimensional piece of artwork, takes time and patience. By using varying depths of embossing, the flowers are lifted more than the leaves, the leaves in turn are lifted more than the twirls, creating an interesting image. The design is then filled from the back to provide stability before "ageing" the pewter and hand polishing to attain the rich antique silver look you see. I then attached it to the magnet ready to be displayed.
