Maria is passionate dancer. She loves to dance the night away and can’t stop her feet from moving when she hears music. She adores flamenco, salsa and even cha-cha-cha. She is also huge fan of travelling and dreams about visiting all of the seven continents.I dressed her up in a beautiful crocheted dress in orange and grey, adorned with lace. She is wearing orange shoes with laces. It took me 20 and a half hours to finish it.
This art doll is approximately 14'' (36 cm) tall and is made out of mixed yarn (wool and acrylic) and stuffed with polyfiber. She looks at the world with plastic safety eyes.
Maria is a perfect gift for a child, adult or collector and of course for all dance, music and travel lovers.
This type of doll is called amigurumi, which is the Japanese art of crocheting dolls. It is a combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.
