Lavender I is currently hanging in an exhibition in Belgium. I painted this one because I was so happy with the idea of representing lavender in this way using string.

I represented the flowers in string and have used glazes to work the background adding hints of lavender sprigs in the distance to give depth to the painting. The work is on canvas with worked sides so there is no real need for a frame.

With this work you'll get a signed Artist's Statement and Certificate of Authenticity. I will also include one of my greetings cards.
