This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
This is an abstract design which I call jigsaw as that is what it looks like to me and describes how I have to fit the pieces together.
It is a jigsaw made from 16 pieces of individually shaped glass in gorgeous shades of turquoise, purple, mauve and blue with lots of different textures.
In the centre there is a large jewel, a mutli faceted crystal which gives the suncatcher a wonderful sparkling focal point.
This is 12.5 cm square and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely soldered to the top corners of the suncatcher.
I've framed it with twisted wire for strength and neatness.
