Handspun yarn BFL ivory cream pink green beads sequins This unique handspun yarn takes a long time to produce. I spun a skein of high grade Blue Faced Leicester in natural ivory, then I plied it with a very fine light-reflecting thread onto which I threaded sequins and small glass beads in pastel shades of pink and green. The resulting yarn is surprising subtle. The skein is soft, lofty and spun slightly thick and thin. I am pleased with the result. Because the single is plied with a fine thread, the natural crimp of the BFL is preserved. No industrial process could replicate this yarn.
