Product Description:
This little, old giraffe was inspired by an antique toy I saw recently. He was stitched on my old Singer treadle machine using osnaburg, which I painted then dyed with strong coffee, before baking him in the oven - he was not pleased about that I can tell you. I have then sanded him gently (which he quite enjoyed) to give him his aged and careworn look. He smells divine!Giraffe sits about 9" tall, and is about 12" tall when standing. He has button jointed arms and legs, vintage boot button eyes, a little rusty bell on string around his neck, and two tiny bells on rusty wire just above his mane.
He is simply adorable (don't tell the others, but he's my favourite). He would look lovely on a bookcase, or amongst a collection of vintage toys.
*Please note that he is intended as a collectors doll and is not suitable for children.
