Product Description:

The cover of this pretty journal features a hand-painted and embroidered panel with a harvest design. The journal is hand-stitched and closes with a tie of cotton cord.

The covers of this journal are approx 8.5 x 11 cm in size - the pages slightly smaller so that they are protected by the covers. Mount-board has been used for the covers. The front cover has been cut from cream coloured fabric, recycled from a vintage table napkin. A hand painted and hand embroidered poppy harvest panel has been backed with iron-on interfacing and blanket stitched in place. The back cover fabric is a cream, leaf print, cotton fabric. The fabric covers have been hand stitched to envelope the cover boards which have been drilled ready for binding.
