Chunky warm leg warmers wool mix variegated purples A pair of extra soft warm wool legwarmers in rich glowing shades of variegated shades of deep blackcurrant purple. The yarn is a wool and acrylic mix. These leg warmers are perfect for those of you battling with snowy conditions - but they are also quite a trendy fashion statement. I have designed them slightly more stretchy at one end so that they can be pulled over boot tops to eliminate that cold bit. The legwarmers were knitted in the round, so no annoying seams. These ones are a little longer - they measure 20 inches long and approx.9 inches circumference just below the main ribbed section - but they can be stretchy or worn slouchy as you prefer. The main part is in stocking stitch (stockinette) to show off the rather special colours and the ends are ribbed.
