If you like chickens, you will love this cute table mat/small wall hanging. For this table mat I have used homespun fabrics for the borders and the chicken and the backing to give a fun country look. The chicken is machine appliqued and the a cross hatch design was quilted in the background.Colorway of reds and blacks were used from the highest quality cotton fabrics and threads. I used a poly batting for this mat so it will wash well without shrinking up. A quick press after washing is all that should be needed.
This chicken table mat/small wall hanging is 14.5 x 14.5 inches square. This would make a nice house warming gift or just a nice gift for a friend or treat yourself to something hand made that will last a lifetime with proper care.
