Product Description:

Round multi-coloured polymer clay bobby pins on a plain black backing. The bobby pins are a silver colour.

I handcrafted these pins from polymer clay. They are made using slices of clay from a Stroppel cane. The Stroppel cane was originally devised by Alice Stroppel and is a fabulous way of using up old cane slices. It produces this amazingly colourful pattern. Slices of the Stroppel cane were placed on top of a thick layer of plain black clay. A round slice was then cut out using a cookie cutter and these beautiful pins were the resulting piece. The circular slices were then glued onto hair grip blanks.

Each hair pin is approximately 1cm/0.5 inch in diameter. You will receive a pair as shown in the photo.
