Frankincense was lavishly used in religious rites. In the Book of Exodus in the Old Testament, it was an ingredient for incense (Ex 30:34); according to the book of Matthew 2:11, gold, frankincense, and myrrh were among the gifts to Jesus by the Biblical Magi "from out of the East."

The growth of Christianity depressed the market for frankincense during the 4th century AD. Desertification made the caravan routes across the Rub' al Khali or "Empty Quarter" of Arabia more difficult. Additionally, increased raiding by the nomadic Parthians in the Near East caused the frankincense trade to dry up after about 300 AD.

I personally hand pour all my candles here in Austin, TX. Make my own labels and do EVERYTHING from start to finish...including testing them! This is in an 11oz glass with around 60-80 hour burn time (depending on how trimmed you keep wick!)

This candle comes with a glass lid to hold the scent in until you are ready to have it fill a room with its relaxing qualities. This incredible scent is enjoyable even when not lit.

if you spill your Soy Candle, soy spills are very easy to clean - It's very difficult to remove paraffin wax from furniture or textiles. Soy wax spills can easily be clean up with hot soapy water.

Scented soy candles distribute more scent - The incorporation of soybean oil lowers the melting point of the candle, which translates into cooler burning candles and faster scent dispersion.
