Handmade Taco Teapot

Shared by soapdeli in the Pottery

Product Description:

This unique, one of kind handmade taco teapot was hand sculpted from clay by son, Cody, during his 2009-2010 school year. This teapot was part of a middle school art project. The assignment was to create a teapot. My son was the only one to think of crafting a teapot into the shape of a taco. The teapot is hand sculpted from clay, glazed, and fired. The shell of the teapot is yellow and the brown meat of the pot serves as the top of the teapot, handle and spout. There are decorative green lettuce leaves, red tomatoes and yellow cheese that "fill" the taco. The uppermost tomato comes out so that you can fill the teapot with the liquid of your choice.
