This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A violin in lovely shades and textures of purple glass.
I've used a purple silvered / mirror glass for the finger board, tail piece to give it more shine, I've made the pegs from silvery beads and the 4 wires go down from the pegs, over the bridge (another silver bead) to the tail piece. I've used another tibetan silver bead as the scroll at the end of the neck.
It's 17 cm tall and 6 cm wide and I traced my design from an illustration of a real violin so the proportions should be reasonably correct..
I drew the design by tracing an illustration of a violin so it is reasonably accurate shape and size wise. I do happen to know how a violin fits together as I used to play one.
