Man's/woman's beanie hat hand knitted classic design contemporary colours
I knitted this classic beanie in a strong green and brown colourway. The yarn is Sirdar Escape chunky, which is a mix of 50% wool and 50% acrylic. It is perfect for those of you battling with snowy conditions - but it is also quite a trendy fashion statement.
A distinguishing feature of this one is the thick, horizontal ribbed band, designed to keep your ears warm.
The measures just over 20 inches at the base (and is stretchy) and 9 inches top to bottom, so a medium to large size with some slouch. But this one is really versatile. You can turn it into a small to medium size by rolling the brim up and wearing it as a classic beanie - double the ear protection then too!
