This is a stained glass suncatcher made entirely by hand using the Tiffany copper foil technique.A spider's web, complete with spider and a fly, both detachable.
It is made with lots of different types, textures of beautiful clear glass including iridescent,streaky, rain drops,
Most of my glass pieces are bright and colourful. This, except for the red fly, is monochrome but very effective.
Though the glass is all virtually colourless the web takes colour from the different types of glass within it and especially the iridescent pieces which have pink and turquoise shimmers..
