Sock yarn hand painted merino 100g red lemon gold The base yarn for this is 75% merino wool and 25% acrylic sock yarn weight. The yarn is beautifully soft when knitted up. I hand painted this one in several bright shades - yellow and gold first, then red, and just a touch of coral. The last picture shows the same skein before rewinding.
