When I was little I often visited my grandmother's house. She was a well-traveled lady and had lived in many other countries including Hong Kong. She had a collection of oriental tables that were richly carved with scenes of mountains, trees, cherry blossom and people working the fields and I would spend hours imagining stories about them. The scenes were bordered by these square S shaped tendrils, interwoven with cherry blossom and inspired me to create these earrings using natural pink freshwater pearls from China.Site:
