In beautiful autumn colours this scarf has been made using a nuno felting technique. Shades of brown merino wool blended with bleached tussah silk fibres have been applied to a brown base silk scarf. The nuno felting process allows the fibres to migrate through the silk. Shrinkage of the wool fibres during the felting process creates lovely crinkled effect.Site:
