Knit wool scarf men women blue brown warm
I knitted this scarf lengthwise in a fairly open dropstitch pattern. I used a variety of yarns in blues, brown and tan with just a touch of grey, white and green. It is mostly wool with some cotton. The tan is a high grade pure alpaca. I think the colours work very well together - the blues are less dominant and more subtly muted than I can capture on my monitor.
The resulting scarf is soft, light and warm - and suitable for a man or a woman.
The scarf measures approx. 64 inches long, including 5 inches of fringe at either end, and 4.5 inches wide - narrow enough to double up or to tuck neatly into a coat.
