Handspun merino yarn - deep rich burgundy, silver grey trilobal

Product Description:

Handspun merino yarn - deep rich burgundy, silver grey trilobal A new range of handspun yarn. First, I spun a single from some merino tops I had blended in various shades of maroon and dark red burgundy. I then spun a fine thread of silver grey, palest blue coloured trilobal nylon and plied the two together to create a balanced, soft, bouncy one-of-a-kind yarn which catches the light beautifully. The wool is spun chunky - please see last picture against the tape measure for an accurate idea of the gauge. This would make a great hat for a man or a woman, or there is enough for handwarmers - and, of course, it could always be supplemented with some toning plain yarn - maybe use it for a special decorative border on a larger project. This listing consists of 1 skein, 110 yards, weighing 59g http://www.etsy.com/shop/SpinningStreak?section_id=5307046 http://www.etsy.com/shop/SpinningStreak
