Hand painted baby alpaca silk yarn aqua blue green100g by SpinningStreak The base yarn for this is an absolutely delicious 70% baby alpaca and 30% silk. It is a fine 4 ply/sock/fingering weight. The yarn is beautifully soft when knitted up. I hand painted this one in shades of pale silvery turquoise and emerald green. The colours have blended to produce a beautifully variegated pale but definite aqua blue green. The last picture shows the same skein before rewinding. There is plenty here to make a scarf, lacy shawl, hat, gloves etc. - lots of free patterns out there!
