Hand knitted boiled wool felt hat, Downton style, purple with a pale blue and dark red border. This is a hat I hand knitted (large!) from pure wool, then felted down to size. It now measures approx. 23 inches at the brim and 8 inches from the crown, not counting the little rolled up brim. The hat is quite firmly felted. It is in a warm purple with a discreet decorative band of light blue and dark red.
